Established in 2009 by Chris Charlton, the company is now owned and run by Chris’s daughter, Katherine Armstrong. With a background in the design and construction industry, Katherine has 20 years’ experience in kitchen design and fully oversees all Red Onion’s projects.
We work with clients in the private and contract sectors of the market across a wide area throughout Sunderland, Washington, Tyneside, County Durham, and Teesside.
Creating your new kitchen is potentially one of the biggest investments you will make in your home and exceptional kitchen design means creating a room that works for you, on all levels.
At our first meeting we get to know you and your requirements whether that’s a kitchen for the keen chef, a busy family room (don’t forget to leave space for the dog basket), boot room or a place to entertain. Building an extension? We can work from Architect’s drawings. With Katherine’s expertise and attention to detail we create a design proposal using some super CAD technology. We’ll plan the added extras and flow that will make the most of the space, however it’s used.
